Bare Reef has updated Portfolio mobile for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The updates include major enhancements to performance calculations, broker support and device syncing, as well as a significant number of fixes for existing issues.
New in this release is a revamp of background performance calculations. While earlier versions left some confusion related to background calculations, which ran with no notification of progress, current versions now report detailed status descriptions to keep the user informed.
Broker support received a major ease-of-use improvement with Open Financial eXchange (OFX) searching. Users connecting to their online broker accounts can now automatically setup portfolios in the app without searching for the proper settings online. Additional error reporting and guidance has been added to improve usability. Mac 10.8 users will also notice notification of broker import results in the new Mac Notification Center.
Device syncing has been updated to support Categories, manually added price history and more. The synchronization process has received a speedup as well. Other additions include support for quotes from Boerse Frankfurt, Retina graphics for the Mac, iOS 6 fixes, and more.
Portfolio mobile is the only cross-platform stock tracking application, supporting Android, iPad, iPhone, Mac. The software suite provides the more comprehensive set of tools found in any application including:
